Lordgenome & Lazengann
After a couple of weeks, this is what I came up with for my supervillain piece. It's not quite where I want it, but I did get some good ideas from it. If I have time, I wanna keep pushing it forward.
Of course, it's inspired by Gurren Lagann, and this character was one of my favorites (mostly because of his awesome mecha). ^^

Super Villain (not really)
So... I had typed up this whole story that was supposed to go along with my villain, but it was really long, so I decided to spare you all.
Here is Tanya Victera.
At age nine and a child prodigy, she quickly mastered several forms of martial arts and is quite the marksman with firearms. She's not a super villain, but she suffered a traumatic childhood and she is out to set the world on fire and watch it burn.
I wish I weren't so busy these last two weeks. I would have finished this sooner, and I would have had some middle ground and background... and I would have made her uniform more interesting. This was my first time designing a character. Critiques are very welcome.
I'm done... I've had an exhausting day, and it's past 4 a.m. and I have to wake up at 8. Good frickin' night, guys.

Superhero!
Robin!! Yay Teen Titans :)
Sorry I cheated and used a photo for the background... Robin alone took me 14 hours. The rest took half an hour.
**edit**
Anh painted his all boss-like, and Veronica did the comic version. I apparently didn't get the "make them badass Titans" memo, so I went with the cartoon series version, just a little older...

2 - Superheroine: Starfire!
Sorry, joined late, no turtle post for me. This week I bring you Starfire from Teen Titans! I have so much love for her. She fights fiercely and loves deep, and heaven help you if you get in her way.
I was supposed to do the TV show version to match with Anh and Jess, but my idea wasn't working out so I switched. Sorry guys.
2: Superhero - Beast Boy
TEEN TITAN SPAM!!!
I was very reliant on line last time and when I saw how everyone worked with values to differentiate the planes, I was inspired to do the same. Not completely well though since I've left a few lines here and there.
Anyways, I give you all Beast Boy. Veronica, Jessica, and I just finished the series this summer and so he was fresh in my mind. Special thanks again to Veronica and Jessica for critiquing my work as I went along!

Week #2 - Superhero
Lol, last to post last week and I guess first this week. So you're subjected to more of my photoshop practice!
Spent most of the week trying to make gestures on the photoshop till I found something that struck me as hero-y. Then I went and made the image so dark most of the gesture outline can't be seen, lol, but it's there and I'm quite happy with it. As for the rest.... just continuing to practice blending and color techniques with this digital art thing!

Week 1 - Turtle
Here's mine posted at last! I didn't go for the creative angle because the challenge came up just when I was trying to learn to paint with photoshop. I spent all week on the turtle and then did the rest in a single night, hence the rest looking less finished, lol.
Anyway, his name is Sulvester.
